I found it in the bath with my son. I am not sure if it was on him or got into the water some how. Any ideas what it is? Please note it's on a large kid size Q-tip for size reference.

It looks like a water bug to me. It's harmless.
This can help. But I warn anyone who is afraid of spiders, it's the first thing you see.
The picture is a little blurry for me....with that V on the back, it may be a carpet beetle (this site has a clear pix of one--forgive the ICK factor):

Seeing one I usually don't panic. If you see more, you may want to give the house a good cleaning as they can eat carpet and other stuff around the house and you don't want that to happen.
