I have the Lolita porcelain doll, boxed with a certificate of authenticity. I have had it since my childhood in the early 90s. How much is it worth?
Unfortunately, these dolls are mass produced and don't bring a high resale value. Many people sell these online and can only ask $10 to $25 for the doll. Even at these prices they are hard to sell and most listings are cancelled because of this.
It is worth $25 at most. Mass-produced dolls become less valuable with time.
There are so many pretty dolls similar to yours that have been saved over many years and one would hope they would be valuable. Sadly, most of these are very difficult to sell even at very low prices.
others here have provided insight into possible price.
here is a sad primer on the economics of dolls as commodities: the fact is, a lot of these so-called 'collector' dolls do not have a lot of value. The market is saturated with them and the demand is just not there. This professional doll site has this to say about it: "Modern porcelain collector dolls sold from about the 1980s to present, were meant to appeal to adult doll collectors, not children. The theory was; buy it, keep it in the box or debox, but keep it unplayed with, after some time passes, you'll be able to sell it for more money than your original purchase and make a profit.
I recently got this doll from a raffle, I have tried looking for her on just about every website possible to try and find not only the value, but any sort of information. I know the Knightsbridge Collection including limited edition dolls are not rare, but I'm hoping someone can help me out with any insight or information.
Her name is Angela.Thank you so much!
Normally on the back of the dolls neck here is a number. This number indicates how many of the same doll was made. The first number is the dolls number and the second one is how many they made. So if your number is 359/1000 it means that this is the 359th doll of 1000 the company made.
I would like to know how much this doll is worth. Her name is Evelyn and she is a limited edition. She has the mark on the back off her neck.
These are mass-produced dolls that generally decrease in value. A standard-sized doll usually gets $25 or less. The very large dolls can go for $50.
One just sold in July 2018 in the UK for £26.00 which is $34 US dollars. Doll values are pretty steady (usually low--under 5 US dollars) so this is a high value to me!
picclick.co.uk/
That is probably still the value in the UK.
I haven't found one that sold in the US so it is hard to say if that would be the US value. The only ones I see selling are in the UK so if you are in the US, you may want to sell it with international shipping.
Be forewarned though, that it is VERY expensive to ship overseas AND you have to package it very, very, very, very carefully or it will arrive in a million pieces.
Post back what you decide and how much you fetch for her!
Very pretty doll but the market is flooded with similar pretty dolls and most are not selling even at prices below $10.
Dolls are just not in demand as they were in the 80's & 90's as young girls are more into other methods of entertainment.
There are not very many doll collectors either and of these most are looking for the more rare selections.
It is sad but dolls like this are even difficult to sell at thrift stores for more than $10-$15. Occasionally a larger doll will sell for more but that is falling off also and their value is lower now too.
I believe your doll is 24" and may sell for $25-35 but may take a year or more to sell. This is a guessing game. Sellers leave their dolls listed for months and even years (I recently say a nice doll listed for $39.95 that had been listed for over 2 years before the seller decided to remove it).
Here are some dolls from this collection that have recently sold on eBay and it looks like most sold for under $20 (even in the UK).
www.ebay.com/
eBay is considered the largest doll selling venue in the world and most appraiser's check eBay for current doll values.
If you wish to sell this doll you might have better luck listing her on your local sites like Craigslist, USA4Sale, Nextdoor or Facebook Marketplace with pick up only as shipping will be too costly for a 24" doll and dolls are also too easily broken.
I have a Knightsbridge porcelain doll. There is a number on her neck 9549A and it says 1998 on the tag that's on her wrist in the shape of a heart. She is 15" tall.
I would like help to find the value.
These are mass-produced dolls. It is worth $25 at most
sounds good and thank you for getting back to me
I am trying to find out what this doll is worth. The serial number is JWD196. Her name is Charlotte and is she is a part of the Knightsbridge collection.
The Knightsbridge company mass produced all of their dolls which means they will always be low value dolls.
These dolls are mass-produced and will get you $25 at most.
While these dolls don't have a lot of value, they are no longer being made. Many are "repurposed" as monster dolls or other novelties. Local haunted houses like to use them as props. They can cost as little as a dollar in thrift stores, but a doll author and long time collector, the dolls are worth keeping as part of doll history. Barbie, most antiques, Sasha, Madame Alexander, and other highly collectible and valuable dolls were also mass produced. The first versions, so called "Waldas" now have their own following and a YouTube video. When sold, they bring a little more in antique stores and on Amazon.com. They often have lovely outfits and are still liked as decor items. Quality varies.
I have had this porcelain doll for as long as I can remember. According to her certificate she is a limited edition Melissa doll from the Knightsbridge Collection.
I was wondering her worth.Keep in mind that just because a doll may be fancy, old, inherited, etc., it most probably has little value as most are mass produced in the thousands and very often include the rather misleading term limited edition in their names and may also have an essentially worthless certificate of authenticity. A doll's condition is extremely important in considering value-the best doll prices are paid for dolls literally never removed from their boxes. You can find prices for some dolls on EBay and try online for further research. This site is a good place to start:
collectdolls.about.com/
This is a mass-produced doll. There were 5000 in this lot alone. It is probably worth less than you paid for it.
Can anyone point me in the direction of some information on this doll?
Year it was made, value, etc. I can't seem to find anything anywhere.
Your doll 'Piper' is from the Leonardo collection and is listed @ $10.60:

Another doll is listed @ $10:

Most of the ones ion eBay are asking $10 to $25.
I want to know the value of a porcelain nun doll, totally new in her box from "The Nights Bridge collection?" I would appreciate your answer, thanks!
The Knightsbridge Collection of Porcelain Dolls
This collection is generally in the lower value range.
You may see a lot of higher 'asking prices' but rarely will you see a sold doll for more than $15-$20 and most will be lower.
Check out eBay's sold listings:

I found this beautiful Knightsbridge Collection Classical Treasures "umbrella doll", Caitlin 1-5000. I was wondering if she had a value.
This is a mass-produced doll. She is one of 5000. If you could get $25 it would be a lot.
