I am looking for a mayo or mayo substitute dressing that does not contain oil?

Spicy, Egg and Oil Free, Vegan Mayonnaise


1 lb. regular tofu, drained and crumbled
1 lemon, squeezed
1 ½ teaspoons ground coriander
3 garlic cloves, crushed
½ cup cider vinegar
2 - 3 teaspoons dry mustard
2 teaspoons tarragon
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Combine all the mayonnaise ingredients and mix in a blender or food processor until smooth and creamy.

If you are looking for a ready-made mayo, Smart Beat Fat Free Mayonnaise has no oil in it. I have never tried it. You can check out the ingredients here:


Fat-Free Mayonnaise
1 (10.5 ounce) package firm silken tofu
1 1/2 teaspoons white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt

Combine in a blender, blend until smooth. Keep refrigerated.

I did not use this spicy egg and oil free mayonnaise after I made it. It was nowhere close to mayonnaise.
