Air Evacuators

Don't spend $10, $20, or more on one of those fancy air evacuators to improve storage time of food. Instead, put your food to be stored into a Ziploc type baggy, zip it almost all the way closed, insert a straw in the small opening, suck out the air through a straw, then zip it the rest of the way closed before the air gets back in.
