Sour Cream Raisin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 beaten egg
  • (Line pie plate with pastry or your choice)

Directions

Grind raisins and combine with all other ingredients. Turn into pan; top with a layer of pastry. Bake in quick oven 10 minutes. Reduce heat and bake 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 3/4 cups chopped raisins

Directions

Add all ingredients to beaten eggs and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup raisins, cooked
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • baked pie shell (9 inch)

Meringue:

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 jar of marshmallow creme

Directions

Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Stir in sour cream. Then add egg yolks and cook until thick. Add raisins and vanilla. Pour into pie shell and top with meringue.

Meringue: Beat egg whites until frothy. Add marshmallow creme and continue to beat until mixture stands in peaks. Spread on pie filling and brown in oven at 350 degrees F. Watch closely as this should only take a few minutes.

  • 1 baked pie shell (9 inch)
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup seedless raisins, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp. fresh lemon juice

Directions

Mix all ingredients except pie shell. Cook and stir in a double boiler until thick. Cool slightly and pour into baked pie shell. May be served warm or cold.

  • dash salt
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions

Mix and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 30 minutes at 425 degrees F.
