Use Wallpaper Samples for Scrapbooking

Here's a money saving tip for all you scrapbookers out there. instead of buying those expensive scrapbook paper pads, get something for free and is earth friendly - wallpaper books! They are perfect for scrapbooking and most places that sell wallpaper throw those books away. Help save the environment by calling those stores and getting unique, one of a kind papers for your photo memories.

Where I live the stores charge for thos sample books. However, are the wallpaper samples acid free, like the actual scrapbooking papers are? For the scrapbooks that I do, I don't use anything that isn't acid free.

You will have to check whether the wallpaper is acid free, it should say on the label, or you could check with the manufacturer via the web.

As for the samples, borders are good as well. they often have nice pictures on which can be cut out for greetings cards and such like. They are often self-adhesive as well - we once found some with ice hockey team badges on. They made good stickers to on the kids ice hockey helmets, and one for the car as well (stuck on the inside of the glass, with clear sticky tape).
