Barbecue Fork Converted to Back Scratcher

For a couple of months my itching back has been driving my husband and I crazy. Plastic back scratchers are easily broken. I needed something long and strong enough for frequent use.

I finally settled on a stainless steel outdoor barbecue fork. My husband flattened the fork and barely bent the tips. It works great.

I bought wooden back scratchers at World Market. I think I paid around a dollar each. They work great.

I have had my three bamboo back scratcher for about 20 years now and they are great. Very strong and inexpensive, I think I paid about $1.00 each.
