Individual Pot Pies


  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) can condensed chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups cubed chicken or turkey
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup frozen sweet peas
  • 1 cup frozen baby cut carrots
  • 1 (1 lb 1.3 oz) grand biscuits


Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 8 custard cups or large muffin cups.

Melt butter in large skillet, stir in flour and dash of pepper. Cook 1 minutes, stirring constantly until smooth and bubbly. Gradually stir in broth and milk, cook until mixture thickens. Stirring constantly. Add chicken or turkey, onion, peas and carrots. Cook until hot and bubbly. Spoon mixture evenly into greased cups.


Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Press or roll each biscuit to form a 4 1/2 inch round. Place on top of filled cups. Cut slit in top to help vent air. Bake 17-20 minutes or till golden brown
