Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Shrimp

Mouth watering bacon wrapped jalapeno shrimp.

Ingredients:

  • Shrimp, cleaned and de-veined
  • Bacon, 1 package cut in half
  • Fresh jalapenos, cut into slivers (wear gloves)
  • Advertisement

  • Pure cane syrup
  • Soy sauce
  • Toothpicks, to secure bacon

Directions:

Clean and de-vein shrimp. Wear gloves while slicing fresh jalapenos, cut into slivers. Cook bacon in microwave, approx. 3 minutes, still needs to be limp, so you can wrap it around shrimp.

Now take a shrimp and stuff as much jalapeno as you would like into cavity, wrap with half cooked bacon and secure with toothpick.

Make baste. 1/2 cane syrup to 1/2 soy sauce. Place shrimp on grill and baste, wait a couple of minutes and baste again, then turn and baste, baste again.

Shrimp is done when bacon is done, do NOT over cook. Enjoy.

Time:15 to 20 min Minutes Preparation Time
8 to 10 minutes Minutes Cooking Time
