Chicken Wings


  • 6 lb. chicken wings, tips trimmed
  • 1 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup minced onion
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • Ad

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground pepper


Combine all except for wings in saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Place chicken in prepared pans, and brush with 1/2 cup vinegar sauce in each pan. Bake 20 minutes. Turn wings over and brush remaining sauce over the top. Switch position of pans. Bake 20 minutes more. Turn wings over and switch pans again. Bake 10 minutes more. Serve with your choice of sauces.

Missing information makes this recipe difficult to use. Pans prepared how? Any specific type of pan? Bake at what temperature? Switch pans positions? Are you assuming pans are too large to fit two on one oven rack?
