Freezing Fog (Cameron, MO)

My husband told me to keep an eye on the sun peeking through the clouds and get a picture of our elm tree. So, when I noticed a few rays coming in the window I grabbed my camera and headed out to the tree he told me to get a picture of.

Then I walked around the yard and got a few more pictures showcasing the sun's rays and the freezing fog. Then our 2 year old and I went driving around and got even more great pictures. Thanks to my hubby for suggesting it!

It's beautiful. Montana is one of my favorite states. Not so terribly populated, and you can go for miles without seeing a single other car in many areas.

It looks like what I think the old pioneers must have seen a lot of.

Thanks for sharing your photos.

Oooooops. You're in Cameron, Missouri, not Cameron, Montana. Sorry Brandi. I got all excited thinking about Montana, and forgot to double check. Well, Missouri is beautiful too, and a lot greener than almost anything I saw in Montana.

Pardon the goof, please Brandi.

We woke up to freezing fog covering everything. I took this picture, facing north of weeds and our tree line. This has been a much milder winter than last year so far.

Brandi, where do you live? Here in central North Carolina we have already had 2 snows and are expecting more tonight and the first of next week. Usually, we don't get that much snow. I'm about ready for Spring but then thinking about last summer's heat, which was a record breaker, I don't know which I like best, summer or winter.

A little ice on trees is a beautiful sight especially when the sun is shining on them. Nice photo. Thanks for sharing. (01/07/2011)
