Whiskers (Domestic Medium Hair)

Whiskers is a 7 week old Domestic Medium Hair. We picked up this little one from a friend of ours who needed to find homes for her kittens. We are getting her used to being away from mommy. Never having been away from Mama cat, she didn't want to settle down. She had played all day, eaten some, drank some, etc. She still needs help peeing, so we did that. But still, Whiskers would not settle down.

My dear husband, a veteran foster parent for kittens, burped her, rubbed his beard softly on her face, purred at her softly, and then put her in the crook of his arm. She soon went to her temporary nap time home in the bathtub overnight with a small carrier and lots of soft towels around the carrier with a little water bottle and she slept all night there. This was so sweet to see. To look at my husband, you would think he was some sort of biker dude but he is all heart.

This little girl is so cute. I took a thousand photos, it seems, and the first one my daughter took was this one. It looks as if it has on a penguin suit, so adorable. She is a cute little darling.
