Oil and Vinegar Base For Different Salad Dressings

You can use this basic oil and vinegar mix to make a variety of different salad dressings.

Ingredients

  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 3 cups salad oil
  • 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a glass jar or bottle. Cover, shake well and store in refrigerator. Shake again before using. Makes 4 cups.
