In my area, it's about $15 an hour. That's with the cleaner providing all materials and equipment.
It depends on where you live. Do some checking and see. Where I live the cheapest that I have heard is $10.00 an hour.
Call another house cleaning company to obtain their house cleaning rates. Then add up your costs. Cost of materials, transportation, taxes, profit, etc.
In my area the going price is $15 an hour with a 3 hour minimum.
Around here, housekeepers charge by the room. I get my Living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, 2 long halls for $60. I have a LOT of knick knacks to be dusted but we're not messy. Some days she's here longer than others, and she often cleans guest rooms before company comes if I ask. No laundry, no refrigerator or windows.
