Grilled Rib Eye Steaks

The marinating time for these steaks is worth it because they are so tender you can almost cut them with a fork! And don't forget a loaded baker to accompany on the side ;-)



  • 2 (10 oz.) rib eye steaks
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. minced garlic (yes, Tbsp.)
  • 1/4 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp. steak seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp. steak sauce (my favorite is A-1)


Whisk olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, rosemary, steak seasoning, and steak sauce in a small shallow backing dish.

Prick steaks on both sides with a fork, place in baking dish, turn to coat. Cover dish and place in the refrigerator overnight. Turn once or twice more.

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat.

Remove steaks from marinade and discard the marinade. Grill steaks, covered, to your desired degree of doneness, up to about 10 minutes each side.

Steak is something I remember, but haven't had much of lately. New dentures are still giving me trouble. I'm betting I could almost copy this flavor with ground round maybe, so will have to try to come up with a way to do the marinating. We like the Pickapeppa Sauce from one of the islands. Just a little bit of a bite to it, but wonderful flavor.

This should work with beef or pork and any cuts you want to grill. I got a 10 pound tenderloin of pork in the freezer waiting for some action. This might be it!
