
	 Simmer raisins in water for 5 minutes.  Set aside to cool.  Cream margarine and sugar.  Add baking soda dissolved in buttermilk, beaten eggs and vanilla.  Stir in dry ingredients.  Add raisins and raisin juice; mix.  Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet.  Bake at 375 degrees F until brown, about 12-15 minutes.
