Lasagna Casserole for a Crowd

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 lb. ground beef
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt to taste
  • 2 cans (8oz. size) tomato sauce
  • 2 cans tomatoes (1lb. size)
  • 1 tsp. oregano

  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 16 oz. pkg. broad lasagna noodles
  • 4-6 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese, for topping

Directions:

Brown meat, then add everything, except noodles and cheese. Cook noodles until done and drain. Use very large pan, 12x18 inches; put in layers; noodles, meat mixture and cheese. Repeat, ending with meat mixture.

Top with Parmesan cheese, and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. Serve 10 people easily.

6 - 8 pounds of meat? 4 -6 pkg cheese? Methinks there is a misunderstanding in foreign measure. I would have the same problem if i were to measure ingredients even in Australia.

Can this recipe be frozen. Also are the meat and cheese measurements accurate, as the previous feedback.
Would this feed more than 10 people.

To make this for 50 people, do I multiply each ingredient by 5? I have 2 large restaurant pans(I was thinking 25 servings each.) I saw a link down below of serving 50 people, but there is a little too much involved with that particular recipe. Thanks!
