This is a great way to use broken jewelry, earrings that you now only have one of, charms, beads, buttons, etc. They make great Valentine gifts too.

Approximate Time 20-30 minutes

Supplies:

  • wooden or cardboard heart
  • gold metallic acrylic paint or gold spray paint
  • embellishments: gold charms, beads, buttons, jewelry findings, etc.
  • hot glue gun & glue sticks
  • pin back

Instructions:

Paint cardboard or wood heart gold. Allow to dry. Arrange charms and other embellishment on front of heart. When satisfied with arrangement, glue each piece in place. Glue pin back to center back of heart.

Instead of paper you can also use old eyeglass lenses. I get mine form the Goodwill Stores, thrift stores, and friends.
