Buy Thrift Watch for Replacement Band

Do you have watches you just don';t have the heart to throw away even though the strap is broken? Purchasing watch bands or straps can be a bit pricey these days. I have a seasonal watch that I like a lot for the summer. The band finally came apart, I wore it so much. I went to my church's yard sale and looked at the jewelry and there were old watches being sold. I found one that had a band close to the size of my watch and bought it for $1. I was able to take it home and replace the band myself in no time flat. Now one of my favorite watches is usable again.
