Chicken with Ramen

  • 4 packages of ramen noodles
  • 4 1/2 cups of water
  • 1 12 oz. can of chicken drained
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

Put the 4 1/2 cups of water and ONLY 2 packages of the spice packets that come with the ramen noodles in a 3 quart pan and add the drained chicken from the can. Do not add the juice from the can because it will be too salty. Heat the water and break the ramen noodles into the pan and wait until the ramen noodles have absorbed the broth. Remove from heat when cooked (about 5 minutes) and immediately add the shredded cheese, stir, and serve.

I also sometimes add some basil, chopped onion and minced garlic to the broth before adding the ramen noodles. It tastes wonderful either way. Everyone that has tasted this loves it. It takes more time to tell how to make it than it does to do it!
