Lemon Baked Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1 fryer, cut up or 3 chicken breasts, halved
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted

Directions:

Place chicken in baking dish with lid. Sprinkle with salt, and pepper. Top with mushrooms. Mix together the bouillon cube, hot water, lemon juice, and margarine. Slowly pour over chicken. Slice half a lemon and lay on top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour until tender. Remove cover the last 15 minutes to let brown, if desired. Serves 6.
