I would like to create an art nouveau/deco room. My favourite colour is green. I was thinking of doing something green and chocolate brown with light pink. Any suggestions? This is for my new room away from home. I'm 21.

I think these colors would be nice for an art deco-inspired bedroom; I would keep the pink on the pale side and look for furniture and accessories with geometric aspects: circles, angles, stairstepping; I would use silver as a metallic accent, and would use some black, too, maybe even in place of the brown. Thrift shops are great places to find vintage pieces! Check out this mirror I bought at Goodwill, it has the stairstepping described above.
