Use Old Luggage for Storage
Instead of spending money on expensive storage bins just place your linens, seasonal clothing, photo albums, extra books, etc. in your luggage and slide under the bed.

Inexpensive Protective Storage for CDs
Do you know of a cheap way to protect the surface of CDs? I don't want to spend the money or add to the unnecessary plastic in the world by buying jewel cases. Any ideas?

Storing Food for Emergencies
Everywhere I read about how we should be storing food due to fires, water shortage, etc. I store dry foods like rice, beans, oats, pasta, bulk foods and noodles by leaving them in their packages dating and storing them in plastic snap lid buckets.

Rubbermaid Boxes for Storage and Furniture
I use 13 gallon Rubbermaid boxes for all my storage. I stack my Rubbermaids two high, and cover with a pretty sheet and the colorful Mexican serapes. They look like a long covered table, and I place books or magazines on top.

Magnetic Grocery List On Refrigerator
I have one of those clear see- through magnetic frames; the kind that pulls apart half of the way as you insert whatever picture you might like. Well instead of a picture, I put a blank piece of lined notebook paper in it.

Reuse Sheet, Blanket and Comforter Bags
I always save the clear zippered bags that sheets, comforters, etc. come in to use for storing sweaters in the summer, children's puzzles, toys, heirloom baby clothes, or anything that comes to mind. Great storage for just about anything!

Store Seasonal Clothes With Dryer Sheets
I use dryer sheets (such as bounce, etc) to keep my out-of-season clothes smelling fresh and ready to wear. By simply placing a dryer sheet on the hanger, your clothes will be ready for you to wear when the seasons change once again.
