Cuban Empanadas |

Ingredients
- 8 lg. refrigerated dough biscuits
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup whole kernel corn
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg
Directions
Flatten each biscuit. Mix together beef, tomato sauce, corn, cheese and sugar. Put egg around edge of biscuits. Fill w/mixture. Fold in 1/2 and press w/fork around edges. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 min. or until done.

Yes....cook with sofritto (minced garlic, chopped onions, chopped yellow peppers) sautee in a little olive oil and salt for flavor. My DH uses store bought pie crust (roll out and bake) for REAL fast empanadas

Is the ground beef already cooked before thes are put into the biscuits?
