Ingredients
- 3/4 cup cake flour
- 1/3 cup baking cocoa
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 3 large egg whites
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 Tbsp. nonfat milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8 inch cake pan with non-stick cooking spray and dust thoroughly with flour. In a medium bowl, sift flour, cocoa and baking powder. In another bowl, combine oil and sugar. Beat in egg whites, egg, yogurt, and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Pour batter into pan.
Bake 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool in the pan. In a small bowl, melt coarsely chopped chocolate in the milk; let cool slightly. Invert cake onto platter when cool and spread with melted chocolate
