Asparagus-Ham Roll Ups

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. asparagus, canned or fresh
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. bottled steak sauce
  • 1 tsp. onion flakes
  • 8 slices cooked ham
  • 8 slices processed cheese
  • 8 hot dog buns

Directions:

Cook asparagus, covered in boiling salt water until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain and chill. Combine the mayonnaise, steak sauce and onion flakes. Arrange cheese on ham slices. Spread with mayonnaise mixture. Top with a few spears of asparagus. Roll up like a jelly roll. Place in hot dog bun and wrap in foil. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-15 minutes or until warm. Makes 4-8 servings. These are good in the freezer also, just bake for 30 minutes.
