C Is For Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 package (6 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Heat oven to 375 degrees F.

Mix sugars, butter, and egg in large mixing bowl.

Add in flour, baking soda and salt(dough will be stiff) add chocolate chips.

Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees F until light golden brown 10-12 minutes.

Let cool slightly, then remove from cookie sheet.

Makes about 24 cookies.

mary, all letters have been submitted; so keep watching. also if you contact general mills and request a book they will send you an order form. i did and am waiting for the form so i can order several more books.

Thank you for these "alphabet " recipes. I work with 2 autistic boys and cooking- and reading- are part of our program. These are marvellous- I"m going to check with our local library system to see if they have the book, but please, keep adding more letters!
