Apple Raisin Cobbler Pie

Ingredients
  • 2 cans apple pie filling
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 ready-made shortbread pie crust

Directions

Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine apple filling, raisins, and nutmeg. Spoon into crust. Combine flour and sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in walnuts; sprinkle over filling. Bake 35-45 minutes or until topping is golden.

Thanks so much for posting this recipe. I had this years ago and lost it when we moved. My family loves it and it's great when you need a quick dessert for company also.
