I'm going to be 14 in a couple months. I have 20 people on my list to come, boys and girls. What should I do that isn't girly or babyish? (nothing expensive)

A karaoke party or scavenger hunt is fun.
How about a cooking party? If you have ever watched the TV shows like Iron Chef or Chopped these are fun parties boys and girls can enjoy together. Personally I think Chopped is fun (although Iron Chef is great if you are all super competitive) because they use wacky ingredients to make the meals. Iron Chef has a "secret ingredient" that everyone has to turn into a meal.

You could have 2-3 people compete, 2-3 people be judges, then everyone eat the food and help clean up! Being that the food is part of the fun, it keeps the costs down.
You could use fun ingredients like potato chips or pretzels or ice cream or cake in your "basket". Have a lovely birthday and no matter what you do....ENJOY!!!
something like sports, a sports turnament, or games night, either games like Twister or Monopoly or pretend casino and do blacjack and poker
You said your birthday is in a couple months. Where I live it's pool season year-round, so if that's an option, you can do a pool party & bbq! (If you have access to a pool or know anyone who lives in an apartment/condo).
Another option is bowling! You should check to see if there are any specials/deals.
It could be cheaper than you think!
For example, in my area there are several deal options:
- after certain time, it's only $1.50 for game + $1.50 for shoe rental, that's $3 per person.
- military discount on certain days $1 each even family/friends of the military household
- early bird special play before certain time and it's $1.50 for game + $1.50 for rental
For food, probably couple boxes of pizza.
