My birthday is October 6th, but I'm celebrating it twice because my parents are divorced. Either way, we don't have enough money to do anything huge apart from going out for lunch. Is there anything else I could do with my dad and my little sister that is both affordable and fun?

Do you live near a hotel that has a pool--indoors if you are in a cooler climate or indoor/outdoor if you are in a warm climate? My nephews had a lovely small birthday event when there were around your age at hotel pool and it was a lot of fun! You and your dad and your sister can see if you can bring a picnic lunch (cupcakes and candles) in and you can swim and then have your lunch (or dinner) picnic.
This is usually a very inexpensive party and would be nice for you to do with your family!!

I would look for something free at the library. They have movies and activities. That way you will have more money to go out for a nice dinner or show.

Not sure where you live, but where I'm at there is a few bucks for bowling in the early AM (just opening.) Perhaps you could call to see if they have any bowling special. I think it was $3 per person.
A nice picnic at the park would be fun. Maybe movie night at home with your dad + little sister and some snacks after lunch?
