Age of Bassett Table?

I found this Bassett piece at a local Goodwill, but I can't find another like it online anywhere. I was just wondering when it could have possibly been made.

Hi,

I love this table! They were all made in Bassett Virginia, starting in 1902. These tables are so beautiful! They are original too.

I had seen that about the company. I was more wondering about a decade. If there's a way to tell?

Bassett is a fantastic company and they make some excellent furniture. Your piece was made in Virginia. Here is some history about the company that should help you learn a bit more about the table you have. This table looks original and is in excellent condition for the age of the table. I am not really sure the exact year this was made but you should be able to get some help from the company. Please read up on history and send them an email for the age of your table. www.bassettfurniture.com/.../index.asp

Can you show the Bassett marking? That may help date it.

I am a bit puzzled by it as I don't remember Bassett making a cocktail style coffee table with these type of legs or the gingerbread trim. They did make a cocktail coffee table with a leather top and the two drawers like yours, but the legs were different.

Clearly I have not seen every Bassett piece...so maybe this just wasn't a style around me.

Looking forward to seeing the marking!

Thanks!

I'm so sorry it took so long to get back to yall. It's that time of year to be crazy busy I guess. Here is the makers mark on the inside of the drawers.

We really need to see the Bassett markings as this is a major part of identifying when items were made.
Also, do you have the knobs/handles as this also helps identify age of items.
You might try asking for help on one of these sites but they will also want to see the Bassett markings and measurements.

Thanks for the logo. That logo was used from the 1960s on.

Based on the legs and gingerbready style--I would place it mid to late 1960 up to the early 1980s before country style took over.

There are lots of Bassett catalogs online so I will keep searching to find an exact match and will post back if I locate it!
