BBQ Meatloaf Recipes
This recipe makes 6 delicious, individual size loaves topped with a tangy sauce. Kids get a kick out of it when you tell them you are making a whole meat loaf just for them.

- 2 1/4 cups ketchup
- 2/3 cup honey
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef or turkey
- 1 1/3 cups fresh bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, minced
- 2 Tbsp. green pepper, minced
- 3 Tbsp. BBQ sauce
- 1 Tbsp. horseradish
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- salt and pepper, to taste
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix all the ingredients for the sauce.
Put the beef and breadcrumbs into a large bowl. Add the beaten egg and milk, and let it sit for a couple of minutes so the crumbs absorb some of the liquid. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly. Shape into 6 miniature loaves. Top with some of the sauce. Bake for 1 hour, brushing with a little more sauce once or twice.
While the loaves are in the oven, bring the remaining sauce to a boil over medium high heat, then reduce heat and simmer on low for 10 minutes.
Serve the loaves with the extra sauce.
