Bleaching Windbreaker Material?

I recently got this cosplay item, where the outside is black and the inside is grey. The grey part was supposed to be white. The material is like a thin windbreaker. Is there any way to at least lighten the inside layer so that it appears either a lighter grey or white?

Nylon can change colors over time and can also turn yellow. Here are a few ways to take care of this.

Lemon juice
Spray bottle
Sunshine

Step 1
Pour lemon juice in your spray bottle. Don't add water to dilute the lemon juice.

Step 2
Spray the material with the lemon juice.

Step 3
Let the lemon juice soak on the material for around 30 minutes to 1 hour. Keep checking this to make sure the lemon juice hasn't soaked through to your darker layer.

Step 4
Turn you jacket inside out and hang it out in the sun. The sun acts as a natural lighting agent. Leave the jacket 30 minutes to start. You can leave the jacket in the sun for 2 hours. I wouldn't leave it longer because the lemon juice will start to weaken the threads in your jacket.

Step 5
As soon as you have lightened the jacket remove it from the sun.

Step 6
Wash your jacket in cold water to remove the lemon juice.
