This sticky snack is called "palitaw" from the word "litaw" which means float.  Its called palitaw because the round flat sticky pieces float when they are being cooked.
Ingredients:
-  Palitaw
- 1  cup glutinous rice flour
- 1/2  cup brown sugar
- 1/4  cup water
-  Coco-Mango Glaze
- 1/4  cup mango sliced into cubes
- 1  cup coconut milk
- 1/2  cup brown sugar
- 2-3  Tbsp water

 
Steps:
 Palitaw
- Combine flour and sugar. 

 
- Pour a small amount of water (not the entire 1/4 cup). Mix very well until it forms a dough.  If it's too dry, add water. If too soft and wet, add more flour.
- Take a small portion and flatten in your palm. 
- Drop flattened dough into boiling water. 

 
- Wait until the pieces goes up and floats. 

 
- When dough starts floating let it simmer for 2-3 minutes then remove from the water.

 
 Glaze
- Mix mango, sugar and water over low heat.  Stir mixture until mango is a bit mushy.
- Pour coconut milk. 

 
- Add brown sugar and stir. 

 
- Simmer mixture and stir occasionally until it is reduced. 
- Continue cooking the glaze until it's very thick.
- Now, pour the glaze over palitaw. Sprinkle with grated coconut or sesame seeds and serve.
