Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Try these butterless double chocolate chip cookies when you have run out of butter. These cookies replace sugar with maple syrup, flour with coconut flour and coconut oil instead of butter.

Craving for some double chocolate chip cookies? Try this recipe out. Yet another recipe that doesn't involve butter. Plus I added in some chia seeds to make this a little more healthy!

Prep Time: 10

Cook Time: 12-14 minutes

Total Time: 22 minutes

Yield: 2+ dozen (I made 35)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Melted coconut oil
  • 2/3 cup Coconut flour
  • 2 Tbsp Cacao flour
  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp Chia seeds
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2/3 cup Chocolate chips

Steps:

  1. Melt coconut oil on stove top.

  3. Mix and combine all ingredients except chocolate chips.
  4. Fold chocolate chips in.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 12-14 minutes or until your preferred doneness.
