This tip is derived from blowing out eggs for egg decorating. Here, to easy peel hardboiled eggs, bang the egg all around on a hard surface and remove some off the top of the narrower end. Form a circle with your thumb and index finger about the same size of the opening, then blow into the egg. The shell will lift, then you can peel it all off in one or two pieces.

Unless youre cooking for company. Dont want to breathe on every egg? Crack all the way around and then run a spoon around under the shell.
I have submitted this method many times to Family Fun on how to peel hard boiled eggs! They have never posted this method! Once u do this method, u will b amazed how easy the eggs are to peel! "Just steam the eggs for 13 minutes, take off stove, put in very cold water (add few ice cubes) peel when you are able to hold egg in your hands. That's it! Do not let eggs get cold, peel as soon as able to handle egg!! You will b amazed how easy shell comes off!!!!!
