This site here might be the best bet for you in the fastest time possible. I am not sure how long it will take to get help, but if they see your problem it could be almost immediately. Start with this site here first. www.needhelppayingbills.com/.../information_on_home_repair_pro.html

You can also apply for government grants but they will take a lot longer to get approved. Here is a link to help you apply for a grant. homeguides.sfgate.com/grants-senior-citizens-fix-up-homes...

You can also try Habitat for Humanity for help. They have excellent programs to help out. But again I am not sure how long the screening and application process takes. www.programsforelderly.com/housing-habitat-for-humanity-critical...

The last hope is a go fund me project or help from your community like your local church. You might get some help from your local newspaper or TV station. In some cases like this, they can do a feature story about your problem and people will come to help.

Most government programs will take time - forms to complete and wait for an answer to tell you what else they need and on and on until they decide if you qualify and if so, how long a wait before they may be able to help.

There are some programs on this site that may help quicker:

Habitat can act quickly if there is an emergency so try calling them and send pictures. This program gives help quickly especially if the person is already on government programs like Medicaid and Food stamps so try them as you will talk with a 'person' immediately.

Where are you located? Some cities have programs to help seniors, some don't. With more info, I may be able to offer you suggestions specific to your location.
