Finding a Vet that Takes Payments?

Finding a Vet that Takes Payments - bald spot on a catI think he really needs to see a vet ASAP and we have no money right now. He has chewed his back raw and I saw a bug on him. I can not have him around me with bugs due to health issues. Mostly we want to get him some help and relief. Any suggestions?

You may be able to work out a payment plan with a vet. You can also contact the SPCA or the Humane Society.

Healing prayers for your pup! Can you call your vet and ask if you can send a photo and get some assistance over the phone? Our vet will do this for us, but we have a well established relationship with them and they understand that finances can sometimes be a challenge for us.

If you do not have a vet with an established relationship, you can see if this link from the Humane Society can find you some assistance:

We have not used this site, but friends have had luck with it:

It is a credit card to help spread payments out. Post back what you learn!

Sending up lots of healing wishes too!

CALL ALL YOUR LOCAL VETS AND EXPLAIN YOUR SITUATION.
MAYBE ONE WILL TAKE PAYMENTS,AND MAYBE EVEN GIVE YOU SOME FREE ADVICE.
CLEAN THE AREA WITH ALCOHOL,and rub in aloe vera, for SOME TEMPORARY RELIEF.
SOUNDS LIKE THE CAT HAS FLEAS.
THERE IS A PILL THAT WORKS WELL,CALLED ADVANTAGE.

There is a place called Noah's Ark in my area. Covington, GA and they offer free pet services. I'm not sure if it's a certain day of the month or daily.

You should look it up. Good luck to you..
