Frigidaire Ice Maker Not Making Ice?

My ice maker quit making ice. Water is dispensing in front. I replaced the dual water inlet valve. Water is dispensing in front, but still no water in ice maker tray. Manually it makes ice. Why isn't it getting water in the tray? Do I need to replace the micro switch (inlet switch)?

Any luck getting the ice tray to fill? I have same problem and am planning to replace the solenoid valve that you mentioned replacing - to see if it helps send water to the ice tray; The tray arms aren't spinning either to try to spit out whatever would be in the tray ( once ice forms there if I can get water to go there.
I may have to replace the ice maker tray mechanism also - any thoughts?

OK. A little background first. I have worked on everything from cranes, tanks, appliances, cars, engine rebuild, industrial plant maint, and of course this ice maker. I have a fridgidaire gallery french door fridge with the upper ice maker. I too had issues with it. In my case the tray and thermistor fractured. I replaced the ice maker assembly. After replacing the ice maker, the tray must be filled with water. Underneath the front kick plate is a tech sheet. It has instructions on how to troubleshoot the fridge and to manually activate certain operations.

One of these is to cycle the tray/fill.
My other issue is that the ice maker will make a full bin of ice, then it will stop making ice until I unplug the fridge for a minute and then plug it back in. Not sure what causes this, so if anyone knows, let me know. I think it may have something to do with the door switches bc it will also kick in sometimes when I fiddle with those. Not positive until I either replace them or do more t.s. on it. I hope this helps somewhat.
