Getting Rid of Invisible Biting Insects

I've recently been getting small bites on my arms and my ankles. I checked my bed for bed bugs and found none, and I Hoovered out the mattress and sheets to make sure, but the bites are still coming. We don't have any pets and I only just recently dusted my room, it is the middle of summer, but only one window is open.

The bites look like little white dots and they're incredibly itchy, they turn red when itched. What insect is biting me and what can I do to help the itching? They're not loads of bites, only one on my ankle and about six on one arm and two on the other, so anyone got any answers?

They could be bird mites or fleas. Get a pesticide

Do the bites look like this? kidshealth.org/.../chiggers.html

Chigger bites were the worst bites I ever had. Do not do like I did and scratch so much you get an infection. I had to go to the Urgent Care and get antibiotics and special cream.

The article above tells you how to prevent them from colonizing in your yard.

There are good tips in the articles for relief. I had them in 1987, long before internet help. Good luck!

To stop the itching and getting bit any further, you'll need to get some mint oil to apply to your skin. Bugs hate the smell of mint oil and they will stop bitting you. Furthermore, the oil helps with itching. Here on the island, we use coconut oil to control the itching and biting of bugs.

After this, you'll need to get your home sprayed.
