Green Tea Infused Edamame

Green Tea Infused Edamame in bowlEdamame is a delicious young soybean, often eaten straight out of the pods. You can find them in the frozen section of any grocery store, in the pod or shelled. I prefer to eat them from the pod; I find it more fun and much more tasty. Cooking the pods in a pot of boiling green tea gives it a nice dimension, aroma, and lovely texture. This is a fantastic appetizer or side dish.
