Homemade Coffee Eyebrow Tint

contest winner icon
I have patchy eyebrows from years of over plucking back in the day. Loving a very full looking pair of brows, I have gone through quite a bit of eyebrow pencils and tints. I now make my own with my used coffee grounds in the morning.

Supplies:

Steps:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together and let sit for a few minutes.
  2. Apply with a small brush or Q-tip, carefully so you don't go outside your brow lines.
  3. Let sit on brows for 20 minutes, then wipe clean with clean Q-tip.

  5. Give your brows a nice upward brush. Beautiful!

You never cease to amaze me. I'm sure you would have survived, thrived and improvised in any age. Nefertiti has nothing on you!

You remind me a bit of myself. In a former life, I was one of the original Floradora Sextets. Stage makeup was at a premium and often scrimped.

I improvised and added more rouge. Yes, Miz Toosa; I wet paper roses from the five and dime and rubbed them on my cheeks. Shall I say, 'I was florid'!

Do continue with more fabulous and unique tips. I enjoy reading all of them, even those I wont be using, such as brow tint.

Who can wait 20 minutes for your brows to dry? Do you smell like coffee or coconut oil?

On me, personally, because I have to exfoliate often, just a few days. But it keeps the actual hairs looking darker and thicker for longer. On my fairer complexioned friends, it lasts over a week.
