How Long to Wait Before Re-Dyeing Hair?

I dyed my hair yesterday this blue color that was supposed to be for people with brown and darker hair. However, my hair is black. I was going to go out and buy blue-black and re-dye it. I have used blue black before and it was okay. How long do I have to wait before I can do this?

If it is not permanent, you can re-dye immediately. If it is permanent, wait about a month, and deep-condition weekly.

The main problem with redyeing too quickly is damage to your hair and in some cases your health due to harsh chemicals. If you could wait at least a week that would be best, though in theory you can do it immediately if you wish

If you're using permanent hair, depending on your hair quality (fine hair, you'll want to wait longer) dye it after 4 to 6 weeks.
