This is a traditional style chair. Look for markings underneath the chair that can give you more information about the manufacturer.

You might want to take the chair to an antiques professional to have it appraised.

Can you add more photos? Side and underside, back and underneath. It is very challenging to tell age and confirm style from a single photo. Can you tell how it's assembled... meaning screws or dovetail or wood pegs? What do the screws look like? What does the underside look like? Webbing or fabric? Is stuffing cotton or horsehair or something else?

Are the legs curved? Style is important but values and age are dependent on details. Reproduction pieces are often made to appear old so more info will help figure out if it is an 18th, 19th or 20 century chair, or something sold last year on Wayfair to look old. Looking forward to more details! Thanks!
