I bought this table at a thrift shop in Southern CA. I'm wondering how old it might be and why it's only 16 1/2 inches high (4 ft diameter). THANKS!

The manufacturer's mark is not on the base? It seems to me that the base is a different color from the table top. Perhaps the base was completely different or a part is missing at the base.
