Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs

I think an Instant Pot has been a great investment. Especially when you can get it used or as a gift, you will save a lot of time and eat lots of good meals. Here's a great recipe for hard boiled eggs. Best part is, they peel straightaway!

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 3 to 7 minutes

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Add the water and vinegar and put metal trivet into the pot, then carefully add the eggs on top of the trivet.
  2. Select manual setting; adjust pressure to high, and set time for 3-7 minutes. If you like soft-boiled. 7, if you like firm and fully-cooked eggs.
  3. When finished cooking, quick-release the pressure immediately by moving the pressure dial forward and being careful not to burn yourself!
  4. Cool the eggs in a bowl of ice water for 1 minute. Drain well and peel.

If you're doing this, they sell stainless mesh baskets that fit inside the instant pot. It would be a lot easier that trying to catch eggs rolling on a trivet.
