My Kenmore top load washer only fills on clean cycle. It will not fill on any other cycle. What could this be?

Many times this is very simple to fix. In the back of your machine are the two hoses for hot and cold water. Remove the hoses and clean the screen on them. It appears that the hoses are dirty and the water is not flowing into the machine correctly.
