Kitten's Eye Matted Shut?

My six week old kitten's eye is matted shut this morning. It was watering now it is matted shut.
This morning she seems really healthy otherwise. She eats and goes to the bathroom. Her poo is solid. Do I get her to vet right away?

Use warm washcloth to loosen crust. Then rub antibiotic cream between your fingers and then transfer to the top of her eyelids. Do this daily until the crust no longer appears.

I have done the same as mentioned by another person: wet a washcloth with hot water and wring out. Rub across the eyelids to soften and remove the crusty stuff. Then rub a dab of Neosporin/triple antibiotic ointment across the edge of the eyelids.

It works, but you will need to do this for several days. Keep cleaning off kitty's eyes with the warm cloths to keep her comfortable.
