How and when did you get your pet?
I know this little guy doesn't look like the cute, well loved pets we usually see on this site. This little guy showed up at our door before Thanksgiving. We think he's another drop off from someone who didn't want their cat! He was starved and injured.
Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
After 3 trips to see the vet, lots of medications, tests and vaccines, he is on the mend. My daughter named him Lazarus and you'd know why if you had seen him when we first found him. Bloodied, infected face, and starved for quite some time! We thought we could at least give him a home, care, and some food until he passed on. He has literally come back from the dead.
This is our 3rd cat. All have been the result of people dropping them off by our "farmland".
It is sad to see a 12 year old cat (the vet figures this is his age and was horrified by his condition) abandoned just when he needs loving owners and it is no inexpensive task to help one get better. Please fix your pets and encourage others to do so.

i dont know how people can just callously dispose of their pets like this-ok yes ,aged pets can be expensive,believe me i know-im on a very limited income,but no way would i do this-my animals are my family-you wouldnt dump your granny-or maybe some would-but well done for saving lazarus .bless you xxx
