Hearty Leftover Fish Patties

Ingredients:

• fish flakes
• boiled banana heart, chopped
• boiled sweet potatoes, diced
• red onion chopped
• minced garlic (I used toasted garlic)
• 2 cups flour
• 2 Tbsp corn starch
• salt and pepper powder
• meaty seasoning mix (optional)
• 1 cup water
• tonkatsu sauce, optional

Steps:

1. Put the fish flakes, banana heart, and sweet potato altogether in a blender including the onion, garlic, salt, pepper and seasoning. Add water and spin until well blended.

 
2. Mix cornstarch and flour in a bowl.

 
3. Add the blended mixture and incorporate the ingredients well. Add more flour or water as needed.

4. Scoop mixture and place in a baking paper.

 
5. Flatten the mixture. Freeze for 30 minutes to 1 hour to set.

 
6. But if you want to cook it immediately, you can just flatten it in a greased spatula.

 
7. Then slowly drop it in pre heated oil. Fry until golden brown.

8. Here's the finished product. Best served with tonkatsu sauce.
